Villa 5th Grader Wins DAR Essay Contest

Fifth grader, Gianna C., won an essay contest sponsored by the Daughters of the American Revolution. On the evening of May 5th, she read her essay at a DAR meeting and received a cash award.

Fifth grade teacher, Mrs. Wible, opened the contest earlier in the year to the entire 5th grade. Gianna’s essay was the winner. “She represented Villa very well,” said Mrs. Wible. “We are so proud of her.”
