Guided by the teachings of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, our students are empowered from the day they enter our school as girls, to the day they graduate as confident young women. At Villa Maria Academy, students are accepted for the unique persons they are, and surrounded and supported through a sisterhood of friendship.  Students are given the freedom to explore and grow strong, discovering experiences that empower their strength within.

Why All-Girls?

Girls learn in different ways than boys, at different rates and at different times in their developmental stages. We know that girls learn better in an environment where each student is able to be empathetic to one another. Collaboration and communication are grounded in the ability to empathize — a skill for which girls’ brains are hard-wired. By capitalizing on girls’ innate strengths we can help secure their success for the future.

Why a Private Education?

Private schools provide more support, more educational opportunities and individual attention for each student to grow into their unique self.

At Villa, teachers are sensitive to the needs of each child and work to address those needs within a structured setting which provides the support needed for growth. While encouraging students to be creative and innovative, the teachers at Villa foster the students capacity to embrace leadership opportunities.

What Makes Us Unique?
