The 2nd Annual Villa Maria Academy “Day of Gratitude”
May 26, 2021
A Day to be Grateful for the Great Things That Are Happening at Villa Maria Academy!
Our 2nd Annual “Day of Gratitude” on May 26th is a 24-hour celebration for the gifts, people, and values that perpetuate our Academy’s mission!
It is an opportunity to collectively renew a commitment to providing a lasting legacy and VMALS educational experience for our students and Villa Community.
Last year’s gifts made on our Day of Gratitude gave VMA the financial means to purchase 250 desks to maintain social distancing with a safe return to in-person school. It was impactful in a way we never imagined! The donations to the Annual Fund last and previous years enabled us to buy PPE, shields, iPads, iPad stands, filtration systems, and cleaning supplies.., everything we needed to be in-person for learning and adaptable when we had to be virtual.
How does the Annual Fund continue to benefit our students? It bridges the gap between tuition and our needs, especially as we keep enrollment down to maintain recommended health and safety guidelines, Your donations fund:
- Purchases of up-to-date technology and enhanced curriculum with resources for our students and teachers;
- Ongoing professional education and partial graduate school tuition for our faculty and staff;
- Replenishes supplies for safety in school and will purchase additional equipment if needed for COVID guidelines compliance.
- Upkeep, maintenance, and improvement projects in our buildings and on our campus.
Ask your company if they provide matching gifts. Typically, it takes filling out a form and designating Villa Maria Academy Lower School as the beneficiary.
Participation in any amount makes an impact! All donations given now through May 26th go toward our $20,000 goal for the day!
We are grateful for your generosity and kindness to be part of our Day of Gratitude!
We are grateful for your enduring support of our Mission!
