Big Sisters and Little Sisters Celebrate Christmas Together

The first and eighth grades form a special bond through the Big Sister Little Sister Program at Villa. Each eighth grader is paired with a first grader to mentor and lead through the year and do special activities to help develop their relationship.

Yesterday afternoon, they got together for their annual Big Sister Little Sister Christmas party. The girls painted Christmas ornaments together, shared in a gift exchange, and the 8th graders helped their little sisters read their letters from Santa – they were straight from the North Pole and even “ice cold!” said the girls. Thank you to Mrs. A, Mrs. Long the 8th grade girls and the homeroom moms for planning such a fun afternoon. Girls, thank you for showing us how important it is to show others that we are part of something that is greater than ourselves.
