Music
Villa Maria Academy believes that music touches all of us in almost every facet of our lives. We are proud of our students’ accomplishments as they discover, interpret, understand, and enjoy the art of music. Students receive classroom music instruction as well as have the opportunity for music enrichment instruction.
Classroom Music Instruction
All students in Preschool – 8th grade receive general music instruction once a week in a classroom setting, including the study and singing of Liturgical Music.
Music Enrichment Opportunities
For students who want to take their music studies beyond the classroom, we offer enrichment music instruction opportunities such as ensembles in choir, handbells, and tone chimes. Students can also take private lessons for guitar, piano and voice.

Villa is a nurturing, caring, value based community that provided my daughter with an excellent education. The school fostered a sense of community for all families and some of our best family friendships were formed there. We remain in contact with the families, the IHM sisters and some of the faculty and staff. They are our Villa Family.” – The Dinehart family, P ’14
