Middle School Students Advance to Chester County Science Research Competition
On November 29, Villa Maria Academy celebrated the achievements of students in sixth, seventh and eighth grade who placed in the school Science Fair. Congratulations to the winners!

The following girls will move on to compete in the Chester County Science Research Competition sponsored by the Chester County Intermediate Unit. The competition provides an opportunity for students to pursue inquiry-based science through problem solving, planning and conducting research investigations, and using appropriate tools to gather and analyze data. Villa girls engage in a challenging integrated curriculum that cultivates scientific and mathematical literacy while encouraging innovation and creative problem solving. Girls participate in hands-on and creative applications of STEM, both within and beyond the classroom. Villa’s focus is on developing inquiring, open-minded learners by providing the girls with plenty of opportunities to see, do, and experience.
