The athletic programs at Villa Maria Academy compliment the academic program, and share the school-wide goals of building self-esteem, as well as encouraging and fostering leadership and service.
The program is designed to involve as many girls as possible, while promoting healthy competition and developing character. The central focus is the concept of “team,” and the importance of good sportsmanship, respect for oneself, one’s coaches, and one’s teammates.
Villa Maria Academy is a member of the Girls’ Catholic Academy League and Region 17 CYO. The League in which we compete is determined by the availability of comparable programs.
