Blessing of the Blazers Tradition Welcomes 6th Graders into Middle School

On Friday, September 6, sixth grade students participated in a special Villa tradition – the Blessing of the Blazers. When the girls enter middle school, they receive a blazer, a sign of unity, allegiance, and a reminder of their leadership as upper-level students at Villa.

During this special service, the blazers were blessed and placed symbolically on each student by Sister Susan and Sister Patricia, welcoming them into the “middle school family.”
