Middle School Students Assemble 250 Easter Baskets for Local Charities
Service projects are a powerful way Villa Maria Academy Lower School students see the Gospel in action. These endeavors enable students to experience what it means to help people because of a genuine connection felt to others as God’s children.
This afternoon, middle school students engaged in a hands-on service project as they assembled 250 Easter Baskets for 11-14 year-old children from several charity organizations in Chester County in partnership with Partners in Outreach, a non-profit organization dedicated to facilitating the connection between communities who are in need, and those who can give.
Thank you to all the Villa families who donated Easter basket fillers through an Amazon wishlist for the children and to Villa mom, Kara Todd and President of Partners in Outreach, Maryanne Parsons, their volunteers, and the faculty and staff at Villa Maria Academy who helped to organize the project for students.
