Student Leadership Team Installed in Ceremony

Eighth grade members of the 2016-2017 Villa Maria Academy Student Leadership Team were installed in ceremony on Friday, October 7, at Villa’s first Friday mass. After student leaders were installed, school principal, Sister Susan Joseph,  addressed students as they pledged to work hard for a successful year. Sister Susan and Sister Patricia then honored the girls with a Student Leadership pin.

Student Leadership Team President, Stefanie Janowicz spoke to the girls about leadership and how their influence can allow them to be good role models for their younger Villa sisters.

Assistant Principal, Sister Patricia Scanlon, closed the ceremony with students stating Villa’s school pledge and singing the alma mater.
