Students Compete in Religion Quiz Bowl for Catholic Schools Week
On Wednesday, February 1, students in grades 5-8 were split into teams and competed in a Religion Quiz Bowl.
Middle School Religion teachers, Mrs. Klinger, Mrs. Buck, and Mrs. Anuszewski, coordinated and ran the event and developed the questions for the girls based on the what they have been learning in class. Preliminary Religion Bee rounds were held in the classrooms to determine the 4 representatives to compete in the final rounds. Teams were a mix of four students from 5th-8th grade.
There were 2 preliminary rounds of 10 toss up questions each. The team that correctly answered the toss up was given 3 bonus questions.
“We were very impressed with how much the girls knew about the topics,” said Mrs. A. “They all did wonderful.”
Congratulations to Claire C., Jordi D., Reagan D. and Grace W. on their teams’ win! Way to go girls.
Sister Susan challenged the winning team to play against the Sisters.
