Big Sister Little Sister Zoo Trip

Relationships are at the heart of the Villa experience. The Big Sister, Little Sister Program allows the older students to spread their influence, to model caring relationships, to embody the IHM Charism of Love, Creative Hope, and Fidelity.

The rainy weather didn’t dampen the day for the field trip to the Philadelphia Zoo for our 8th and 1st graders. These girls look forward to this special Villa tradition every year to bond with their “sisters” and visit the giraffes (Villa’s mascot) and the other animals. It is one of the many special events that the Big Sisters and Little Sisters do together throughout the year.
