Sixth Grade Representations of Michelangelo’s “The Pieta”

The sixth grade has been preparing for their field trip to the Franklin Institute to view the “Vatican Treasures” exhibit in Art Class.

Although there are a multitude of paintings, tapestries and sculptures housed in the Vatican, they focused on the Sistine Chapel and the works of Michelangelo.

Here are some examples of their representations of Michelangelo’s “The Pieta.”
