Fifth Graders Submit Poems to A Celebration of Young Poets

Each year, to celebrate poets and their craft, the month of April is celebrated as National Poetry Month . Various events are held throughout the month by the Academy of American Poets and other poetry organizations. This April is the 20th anniversary of National Poetry Month.

Fifth Graders recently wrote Quatrains (four line verse) and Cinquains (five line verse) poems to celebrate National Poetry Month and submitted them to Creative Communications, A Celebration of Young Poets. We wish them the best of luck with their submissions!
