Fourth Graders Celebrate Women in Science Day

To help celebrate International Women and Girls in Science Day (February 11) this week, the 4th grade honored this day, by presenting their Women in Science projects. After learning about the United Nations Women and Girls in Science Program, students prepared reports on women scientists and even had the chance to interview women who they know personally that are currently working in a scientific field. Today, they presented their research.
