Fourth Graders Study Women in Science

The Fourth Grade recently worked on a project to celebrate the United Nation’s Women and Girls in Science Program.  Each student prepared a report on a woman scientist and then shared what she learned about that woman. The girls were given the option of writing a paper, creating a Power Point presentation or making a video for their project. Some students interviewed women who they know personally that are working in a scientific field.  Other students chose a famous woman scientist for their presentation.
