All women are capable of accomplishing incredible feats. However, success manifests itself in many forms…
IHM Founder’s Day Kahoot
On November 10, the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary (IHM) celebrated their founding (1845). As a school community, students, faculty and staff gathered in the gymnasium in the morning for a short video presentation. After, members from the eighth grade Student leadership Team visited classrooms to play a Founder’s Day Kahoot game with the girls. The girls were asked questions about the IHM Sisters, and winners in each class got a pencil and free snack in the cafeteria.
The IHM sisters minister as Directors of Religious Education, administrators, classroom teachers, tutors, special needs apostolates, Hispanic ministries, faith formation, visiting the sick and home-bound, prayer ministries and many more including staffing our own institutions such as our infirmary, Camilla Hall, and our Motherhouse, Villa Maria House of Studies. No matter the mission or ministry, the sisters joyfully bring the good news of Jesus Christ to all those whom they serve and we are grateful for their mission and presence.
