8th Grade History Students WWI Projects
In culmination of their World War I Unit, the 8th grade girls created different projects related to what they learned throughout the unit. Students choose from re-creating a U.S. propaganda poster, creating a medical report for a wounded soldier, making a radio broadcast, creating a model trench, writing a journal from the perspective of a soldier in the trenches, or writing a letter describing how much Germany has changed since the war ended.
Villa Maria Academy Lower School engages students in project-based learning, focusing on the development of critical thinking and problem solving skills so teachers can directly assess the development of these skills among their students and help them to grow into their best selves.
