Middle School Students Celebrate CSW with Hour of Code Activities

Middle School students celebrated Computer Science Week last week with hour of code activities through Codesters.org. Codesters lets students create interactive projects in Python – an interpreted, high-level, general-purpose programming language. Codesters uses drag-to-text programming, which guides students through text-based coding, while engaging them with sprites and animations. The girls used Codesters to create a PSA or Public Service Announcement about the importance of Ocean Life. They used both visual and text-based Python to complete this challenging and fun lesson!
