Kindergarten Students Celebrate International Women’s Day

Today, March 8,  is International Women’s Day. International Women’s Day is a time to celebrate the achievements of women around the world and to raise awareness for gender equality. As an all-girls school, Villa Maria Academy Lower School celebrates women every day. Villa girls are fearless and compassionate global citizens who, from a young age, learn the power of their influence and the need for their leadership in the world.

In celebration of International Women’s Day this week and to go along with their study of adjectives in ELA, the kindergarten girls in Mrs. Maurer’s class wrote adjectives about themselves that made them proud to be the amazing young ladies they are.

Today, and every day, we celebrate the strength of our Villa community and of women everywhere.
