Professional Development

Faculty and Staff were back together at Villa the week before school started to kick off the start of the new school year with prayer, reflection, and professional development. Assistant Principal, Mrs. Sheila Kennedy, who is also a positive psychology coach, gave a wonderful presentation, “Flourish in Faith and GROW together” for the faculty and staff. The acronym GROW represented a continued focus of gratitude, relationships, optimism, and wellness through the lens of positivity and positive psychology research.

Mrs. Lisa Callan also gave an eye-opening presentation about Cyber Security Awareness to help our faculty and staff understand more about keeping ourselves and our students safe online.
