Seventh Graders Create Video Games Using Scratch

Seventh graders recently learned how to design, build, and create their own video games using Scratch. Scratch is a FREE online introductory programming and coding site made by MIT that uses building blocks of code that fit together to create a program. To create their programs, the girls learned to drag and drop blocks of code to plan out characters and rules to make their game come to life.
