Student Art Installed in Parking Lot
In the Spring of 2018, the middle school entered their art work in a contest to promote clean water in our environment. Sponsored by the Partnership for the Delaware Estuary, the contest challenged students to create an illustration depicting how polluted water runoff into storm drains is detrimental to the environment.
Current 7th grader Campbell C. was the first place winner for students from Chester County. Her artwork was transformed into a giant sticker and installed this week in the Villa parking lot, next to the storm drain. The large decal should last from 6 months to a year and will appropriately biodegrade without damage to the environment.
Not only did Villa Maria submit the first place winner; Maggie K., 8th grader, won second place and Mackenzie F., 7th grader, won third. Congratulations girls!
