Athletes Honored During Immaculata University Game

On February 5 the Head Coach of The lU Women’s Basketball team invited our Villa athletes to attend their Wednesday night game and to take part in a pre-game ceremony for Nation Girls and Women in Sports Day.

Our girls were given the opportunity to walk through the athlete entrance lined along the sides by lU cheerleaders, meet with both teams at half court, and listened to an inspiring speech given by original members of the championship winning Mighty Macs team. Our girls stayed for the game to cheer the lU women’s team onto victory. Some received rally towels and some girls stayed after the game to get autographs from the players.
