Building Sweet Math Skills in Kindergarten

The girls are building some “sweet” math skills in Kindergarten! They are learning to identify flat and solid shapes. They went on a shape hunt in the classroom and then had some fun creating shapes out of gum drops, marshmallows and toothpicks to help them to better understand what it means for shapes to have different sides and corners. Practice that feels like play – don’t you want to go back to Kindergarten?
