Installation of the Student Leadership Team

Last Friday, the Villa community gathered for our school liturgy and to celebrate the Installation of the Student Leadership Team comprised of eighth grade student leaders and six homeroom representatives from the fifth, sixth and seventh grades.

At Villa, students are taught that leadership is primarily related to the power of their influence. We were reminded at Mass by Father John Joseph and Student Leadership Team President, Gianna C., to consider and reflect on our daily actions. Gianna reminded students of the importance of how they are taught to treat others here at Villa, and that even doing the smallest things – “holding a door, greeting someone in the hallway, getting to know a student’s name” are ways to make a large impact on the school community.
