Kindergarten Celebrates International Women’s Day

For International Women’s Day, Mrs. Maurer’s kindergarten class read Rosie Revere Engineer and Ada Twist Scientist – both about young girls who followed their dreams and believed in themselves. The class talked about how those characters felt about who they are and that led to a talk about positive affirmations. The girls came up with positive affirmations about themselves that make them proud to be who they are.
