Leadership Workshop Begins for K-2

Students in Kindergarten through Second Grade began their Leadership Workshop this month learning Stephen Covey’s first habit: Be Proactive. The program was designed by Villa teachers to encourage girls to think of leadership not as a position and to help them understand that they are a part of something bigger than themselves. Working in groups, girls discussed how they could be proactive at home, in the classroom, in the cafeteria and on the playground.
