National School Counseling Week

This week is National School Counseling Week! Our school counselor, Mrs. Carol Gaspar, is an integral part of the educational process for all students. Today’s students face a diverse and changing world, and Mrs. Gaspar, along with our teachers, helps them acquire the knowledge, skills and attitudes needed to become positive and productive citizens inside and outside the classroom.

Mrs. Gaspar continues to teach our students about social emotional learning this year. This month, she is focusing on social awareness – in simple terms for the students, consideration. She taught the girls this week how important it is to take the time to consider how our thoughts, emotions, and actions impact others.

We are so thankful to Mrs. Gaspar, and the CCIU for our counseling services!
