Over 1,200 Socks Collected for Joy of Sox During Mission Day Event

Thank you to our Villa community for their support for our Joy of Sox fundraiser sponsored by the 4th and 7th grade prayer partners. As admission to our Mission Day event today, students were asked to bring a pair or pairs of children’s socks to support The Joy of Sox. They are desperately in need of new socks for children in the fall and winter months. The 4th graders counted the donations at the end of the day and we are happy to say that over 1,200 pairs of socks were collected! The sock drive will continue to run through November 8. A box will be in the gym for the girls to place their sock donations. Thank you to all those who have made donations.
