Parents Welcomed at Back to School Social

Sunday afternoon posed a beautiful day for our Villa families to gather together back on campus to meet with teachers and enjoy a lovely catered cocktail party in the courtyard for our Back to School Social.

The day began with an assembly in the gym with talks by Sister Susan, Sister Patricia, our Parent Guild President, and our Student Leadership President and Vice President. During the assembly, parents were filled in on the newest improvements to the school and the academic curriculum thanks to the generosity of our amazing parents and donors, and reminded of the importance of our relationships with one another.

At Villa Maria Academy Lower School, there is nothing we are more proud of than our Catholic values and traditions, and the Charism of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. The charism informs every decision and sets the tone for our relationships with God and with one another.

Parents are partners in their child’s academic journey, and it is just as important to us that our faculty and staff develop positive relationships with the parents as well as with their children.

We thank our Parent Guild team for organizing a beautiful event that continues to build community at our school.
