Peanut Butter and Jelly Drive

Each year, Villa’s 8th grade Student Leadership Team partners with Nutritional Development Services and The Community Food Drive, as an extension of the service and mission of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia to collect peanut butter and jelly jars. Nutritional Development Services provides meals, food assistance, and additional support to organizations that serve children or the poor. This week, eighth graders from our Student Leadership Team dressed as PB&J and visited student lunches to tell them more about this program and sing a song to encourage participation. Items are being collected in the gym, now through October 6. More information can be found in the Villa Weekly.
