Pink Day Raises over $500 for Cuddle My Kids

On October 9, Villa’s Student Leadership Team organized a Pink Day where students, faculty and staff could donate a $1 (some donated more!) to dress down in pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Donations went to the Cuddle My Kids organization. Cuddle My Kids supports families and children affected by cancer by offering creative enrichment and play, arts and crafts, age-appropriate educational resources and more – all while giving the sick parent some much-needed downtime. Last year, Villa students collected $450 for the organization. The goal was surpassed this year. Students presented Cuddle My Kids with with a donation of $517.
