Quiz Bowl Team Competes at Great Valley Middle School Quiz Bowl Tournament

Congratulations to our Quiz Team for an outstanding performance at Great Valley’s Middle School Quiz Bowl Tournament this Saturday.  They brought two teams this year, again with no novice division and an even larger playing field, competing against 20 other teams. The team of Jordi D., Lorelai K., Sofia L., and Sahana K. placed fifth overall, and their team of Lisa E., Mackenzie F., Greyson W. and Claire K. place first in their division.  Individually, in a field of about 100 players, eighth graders Jordi D. and Lisa E. placed second and eleventh respectively!  “Once again, our Villa girls provided a great example to the other teams of sportsmanship and teamwork,” said Maria De Jong, one of the Quiz Team coaches.  “Each team member contributed and was crucial in their overall success!”
