Quiz Team Competes in Great Valley Invitational

Recently, the Villa Quiz Team competed in the Great Valley Invitational.

With no novice division, and many schools with a long tradition of academic competition, this tournament was a real challenge. “The Villa spirit really shone through,” said Coach Maria DeJong. “No matter if they were trouncing an opponent or being trounced! The cooperation between members, and respect for the opposing teams was inspiring.”

Both teams advanced to a higher bracket than in the fall, and in that bracket they held their own.  Jordi D. even got an individual award for 6th highest average scorer.

“Thanks to all the Villa staff for their support!  One more tournament to go!” said Coach DeJong.
