Second Grade Creates 3D Crosses and Hearts Using Makerbot 3D Printer

In a cross-curricular lesson, the Second Graders created 2D designs on paper of crosses and hearts since they are making their sacraments this year. Then using the Makerbot 3D printer, they transformed their 2D drawing into a 3D model. The girls had the option to choose from 3 different colors. Here are a few of the completed designs. The girls are currently still working on printing them. Great job girls!
