Second Grade Receives First Holy Communion April 23

On April 23, Second Grade students from Villa Maria Academy received their First Holy Communion in the Villa Maria House of Studies, Sacred Heart Chapel.

The girls received sacramental preparation at school with their teachers. They received their First Penance at Villa as well. On Friday, April 22, the girls and their teachers celebrated their upcoming sacrament of First Holy Communion with a lovely retreat.

First Communion is a milestone in a child’s journey of spiritual growth, and we would like to congratulate all of the girls and their families on this special day. We are so proud of your hard work girls!

And thank you to Second Grade teachers, Sister Ruth and Mrs. Grieves and all the second grade parents for preparing the girls for their big moment. And thank you to Sister Margaret, Miss Connors, and the Third Grade Choir and teachers as well for all of their preparations and participation to help make the day so special.

Congratulations to all our first communicants and their families!
