Second Graders Participate in Retreat for First Holy Communion

The 2nd graders had a prayerful retreat at school yesterday in preparation for their First Holy Communion this weekend. Sister Patricia spoke to the girls about receiving the Eucharist and allowed them to taste the unconsecrated host. They made banners and visited the sacristy to see the vessels and vestments used at Mass. Each family sent in notes and special messages of support and encouragement for the girls on their special day. May God bless our girls!
