Seventh Graders Decorate Tree for Malvern’s Victorian Christmas
The annual Malvern Victorian Christmas in Malvern Borough will take place on Friday, December 1 and Saturday, December 2. This year, Villa has been asked to participate in the festivities. Yesterday after school, a group of our girls and their supportive parents decorated the Christmas tree that sits at Malvern Train Station. The girls in class 7A and Art Teacher, Mrs. Kristen Wright, generously created the hand-made cross and snowflake ornaments for the tree.
Come check out the tree and listen to the voices of our Choir students as they sing Christmas Carols down King Street in Malvern on Saturday, December 2 from 12:30-1:30PM. They will be accompanied by Sister Margaret Logrip and Miss Jennifer Connors. We look forward to seeing you there!
Volunteering is a great way to teach children gratitude and to foster a lifelong commitment to helping others. Children of all ages can benefit from volunteering and giving back. At Villa, we teach the students that by getting involved in community service, it will help them to understand the impact that each one of them can have on the local and global community.
