Seventh Graders Dissect Their First Living Organism

Can you describe the appearance of various organs found in an earthworm? Our 7th graders can! This morning the girls were engaged in their first-ever living organism dissection. Students learned to identify the organs and compare them to human organs. One student commented, “we entered this class as girls and we will leave now as scientists.”
