Sixth Graders Participate in Virtual Heritage Day

6th graders participated in their annual Heritage Day, a special 6th grade Villa tradition – distance learning style. Each girl researched the country of her heritage and dressed in a traditional costume (if she had one already at home). Instead of creating displays, each student choose a Zoom background to represent her country and gave a short presentation about the customs and traditions related to her chosen country, while making a personal connection.

We are so proud of the ease at which our students have adjusted to their new online way of learning these past 6 weeks. Villa’s quick turn around to digital learning in one day allowed students that extra time to adjust to their new normal.
