Villa Maria Academy is dedicated to the personal growth of each student’s overall wellbeing. Our curriculum takes a full person approach focusing on the mind, body, and spirit.
We promote a healthy lifestyle and lifelong dedication to wellness through the development of each girl’s individual health, talents, interests, self-confidence, and relationships with others. From our youngest boys and girls to our developing young ladies, students are taught simple, every day health habits, and given guidance towards spiritual growth.
Students are introduced to the physical, spiritual, and mental benefits of the practice of yoga. In addition to weekly yoga practice, girls will enhance their physical and athletic abilities through a variety of non-competitive to minimally competitive sports and activities.
Throughout the school year, there will be a focus on team-building skills such as cooperation, communication, and problem solving. The girls are encouraged to be the best individual that they can be regardless of their skill level.
