Students Selected to Perform at Archdiocesan Music Festivals

Congratulations to Maura N., Jordi D. and Alexandra B. who after auditioning have earned the opportunity to play in the All-Catholic Archdiocesan String Festival Concert at Cardinal O’Hara High School on March 18. These students will also be performing at the All-Catholic Archdiocesan Festival also known as the “Concert of Excellence” at the Kimmel Center on April 17.

Seventh grader, Jordi, will be sitting First Violin, Second Chair, and fifth grader, Alexandra B. will be sitting Second Violin, First Chair. Eighth grader, Maura N. will be playing Second Violin with Alexandra. These are very “prestigious positions.” Villa is so proud of the accomplishments of these young violinists and of their willingness to share their gifts with others in the community.
