Third Grade Begins Learning about Communities

In Social Studies, Third graders have been Learning about the three types of communities and finding out which community most of the girls live in. Here they are working on their Getting to Know the Villa Community Scavenger Hunt! They also worked with partners using a graphic organizer to compare characteristics of the 3 types of communities, and using Google Earth on the iPads to take a virtual field trip to a rural, suburban, and urban community.
