5th Grade Participates in Thinking Cap Quiz Bowl

On February 11, the 5^th Grade participated in the Thinking Cap Quiz Bowl. This is a trivia contest done online where you compete against other schools in PA. Areas covered include math, geography, government, sports, spelling, science, literature, English, history, general information and just plain fun trivia. Two chances to answer correctly are given. Points are awarded based on how fast they answer as well as on accuracy.

The girls finished in 5th place answering 100 questions with a score of 1188. The winning score was 1242. “We are proud of our 5^th graders and their knowledge,” said 5th grade teacher Mrs. Wible.
