Forensics Team Competes In Philadelphia Catholic Forensics League Tournament

On Saturday April 9, the Villa Maria Forensics team competed at the Philadelphia Catholic Forensics League tournament at Cardinal O’Hara High School. Amanda T. and  Cecilia O. competed in the Prose division.  Amanda took 1^st place in this division for the tournament and Cecilia took a 1st and a 2nd place in two of her preliminary rounds.   Mary C. competed for her first time in Extemporaneous Speech and took 2^nd place for the tournament.  Olivia M. advanced to Finals and took 5^th place overall in the Declamation Speech division.
