Last week, Miss Beck’s Kindergarten class at Villa Maria Academy constructed buildings out of marshmallows and pasta! The girls first created blue prints for their buildings and then constructed them to see if they would stay standing. The girls completed this as part of their unit on Engineering. How fun! Villa Maria’s goal is to increase the STEM proficiency of even our youngest students by helping them develop the knowledge and skills that will prepare them for further study and careers in STEM.
