Kindergarten Students Put On Character Show

On Friday, March 11, Villa’s Kindergarten students put on a character show! The girls read a book, identified the main character, and wrote a speech of three or four main details from the story. “The main character, main idea, and details are huge ELA topics for us,” said Kindergarten Teacher, Miss Kate Beck.

For the show, the girls each dressed up as the main characters from their books, read their speeches, and sang some songs. “It went really well. I am an extremely proud teacher today!” said Miss Beck. “Well, I am always proud of these girls but today it’s even more. My girls rocked their storybook show!!! They worked so hard at their speeches and songs and they were amazing! I love what I get to do everyday.”
