Passing of the Light

On Monday, June 1 the beloved Villa tradition of Passing of the Light occurred in the Sacred Heart Chapel.

During the service, the eighth graders passed the leadership of the school onto the seventh grade. Various symbols were used to represent the different aspects of Villa which the incoming Student Leadership Team accepts on behalf of the rest of the incoming eighth grade that they will model for their underclassmen.

The graduating class also received their alumnae pins as a welcome into the Alumnae Association. For the second year, any alums that had sisters in the graduating class were invited back to give their younger sister her pin to welcome her into Villa’s Alumnae Association. Thank you to our alums for being an integral part of the day.
