Students Teaching Students

This month, Miss Beck’s kindergarten class learned all about St. Katharine Drexel and St. Therese of the Little Flower. Two second graders, former students of Miss Beck’s, visited her class to teach the girls more about the two influential women.

In first grade, students put on a Saint Show for All Saints’ Day, and each student chooses a saint to learn about, dress as, and present. Second graders, Kennedy H. and Julianna B., chose St.Katharine and St. Therese last year, and Miss Beck asked them to come back as their saint to teach the kindergarten.

What a wonderful way to show their leadership skills as they teach their younger sisters!
